"Women's Ink Fun" - Exhibition of Works by Malaysian Female Calligraphers (June 23-August 31)
Date: (June 23-August 31)
Location: Fortune Villa Xanadu
Gu Hongming once said the following: "The real Chinese is a person who has an innocent heart and the wisdom of an adult and lives a spiritual life."
"The Chinese brush may be regarded as a symbol of the Chinese spirit. It is very difficult to write and draw with a brush, and it seems difficult to be precise, but once you master it, you will be able to create beautiful and elegant calligraphy and painting; this effect cannot be achieved with a hard Western pen."
In today's era that emphasizes gender equality, contemporary calligraphy without female calligraphy is incomplete. Art is about writing from the heart. I hope that by exhibiting the works of local female calligraphers, we can appreciate how women's gentleness, tolerance and carefulness extend to the creation of calligraphy. In inheriting culture, beautifying life, conveying emotions and showing the truth, goodness and beauty in the world. This time we have successfully invited 33 local female calligraphers to participate in the exhibition. "Women's Ink Fun" - an exhibition of works by Malaysian female calligraphers will be launched on 23/6, so stay tuned!
