朝代:清(公元1644年-公元1911年)
名称:十无益碑
作者:林则徐(公元1785年-1850年)
简介:
书体:楷书
Dynasty: Qing (1644 – 1911)
Calligrapher: Lin Ze Xu (1785 – 1850)
Overview: Lin Ze Xu was both a prominent politician and calligrapher in his era. His calligraphy fundamentals were inspired by Ou Yang Xun. Instead of following the conventional slanting and cursive ‘angle and fixation’, Lin’s calligraphy appears to be very neatly written and aligned, overall. There are hints of nonconformity, however. This goes to show his natural flair for producing calligraphy of this nature, at times. This piece of calligraphy may lack the usual trademark traits (eg. classic, robust strokes) synonymous with Lin, but the sentences composed by him are meaningful and educational to the community.
Calligraphy Style: Kai Shu
